Wheat has long been a dietary staple, but surprisingly, it also has a range of nourishing proteins which make it fabulous for repairing damaged hair and leaving all hair types in tip top condition.
To access these proteins, the wheat must be put through a process called hydrolysis, which breaks apart the proteins. This makes them small enough to interact with the hair cuticles and form a protective layer.

Hydrolysed wheat protein is exceptionally beneficial for damaged hair. It has a low molecular weight, meaning it can easily be absorbed by the hair shaft and inner fibres, helping to repair breakages like split ends.
These proteins provide a whole host of other benefits too, which include strengthening your hair, adding volume and texture and working to prevent your hair drying out by locking in moisture.
